The route mail takes when you receive it from OfficeOnWeb.

This is a discussion of the circuitous but logical route that your mail takes after it reaches OfficeOnWeb and is sent to you at your request. Hopefully it will help you understand how to debug a problem.

As you can see, both the request to obtain and the receipt may involve lots of people.

The route mail takes when it is sent to OfficeOnWeb or another group.

When you send an e-mail, the mail, even if you have a domain through OfficeOnWeb, may never access our systems. The domain and our systems must be present for it to work, but it is important to realize that we may not have had any activity in sending the mail you send. When you use webmail, you move the smtp issue to the OfficeOnWeb server. If you think OfficeOnWeb is in some way at fault in a mail send, as you can see below, you are probably not correct. However, if you wish to check the issue or just want to get a mail out fast, you can use the webmail feature.

As you can see, a send of mail may involve lots of people, and may not even directly involve OfficeOnWeb.
